Officer Representatives
An Officer Rep should be elected from within the
Officer members within each FRS and their contact
details forwarded to the Regional Officers Section
Chair and Secretary.
The Rep should co-ordinate all Officer meetings/activities
within their FRS and report to Region 1 Officer
Section meeting.
Issues of an urgent or important nature should
be forwarded to Regional Officers section Chair
& Sec. for information and/or action as necessary.
Meetings
There will be at least four Regional Officers
Section meetings per year and where possible these
will be held just prior to the full Regional Committee
meeting.
The Regional Officer Rep (currently the Chair)
will attend Officers National Committee meetings
at Head Office and there will be a minimum of
four ONC meetings annually.
Note
A full attendance is expected at all of these
meetings and substitute Reps should attend on
behalf of elected officials
Exchange Of Information
At a time when there are numerous issues affecting
Officer Members and their Conditions of Service
it it is vital that Officer Reps share information
regarding negotiations/developments on procedural
or policy changes that may affect our Members
in other the Fire & Rescue Services.
If required assistance or advice is available
to FRS Officer Reps engaged in negotiations or
disputes with their FRS management, from either
Regional or National Officer Reps
