Conference acknowledges the role played by the Fire and Rescue Service in Scotland and recognises that to be most effective they must have sufficient resources on scene quickly enough to successfully conclude those incidents which they attend.

To this end Conference notes that the "Fire and Rescue Framework for Scotland 2005" is currently under review and requires that any further revision of this document contains a Scottish Minimum Response Standard for the Fire and Rescue Service.
